Simpsons “malware”

(Continuing on the previous subject of copydenial —)

Another dark evening; another season-box of Simpsons.

Again the malware “Thou shalt not act uppity!” nag screen.

Now with one screenful of written threats more after it!

Dear 20th Century Fox — I assume you’re the ones deciding this stuff — I’m starting to have fantasies. You feature, as do foxes and other feral, hungry creatures… but otherwise the fantasy is rather 11th-century with its disregard of human life and privates, and not 20th-century at all. It has honey in it, though.

I trust you can piece the general picture together from these hints. I also trust you understand I am not happy about this.

I can’t check whether this screed screen is on all discs — I couldn’t bear it right now if it were. Try enjoying entertainment when the first thing you see is a howl of “You may hold me, but you will never have my heart, soul or hard copy making rights! You are a scoundrel, methinks, a scoundrel, a villain! Theee-Siiiimp-sooons!”

Best show ever; worst start-of-disc ever.
