Nature path 3

Continuing on the nature path in Somewhere, Finland.

First, more swamp-path, with an example of just why you really want these paths to be there. Though some people actually enjoying sloshing and wallowing in swampy mud, that’s a sport that requires more equipment than a casual walker and sausage-fryer has.

Oh, and the long wooden slats are just tree trunks cut in half. The supports are tree trunks cut to size — no need to process them, or to employ nails.

But enough with the path for now — sit down and rest your weary feet.

Because, y’know, with all these trees and nothing but time, Finns tend to build strange things out of wood.

More tomorrow. (This was part 3 of 6, actually.)
