“What, faith? So you don’t have any evidence for your religion? Ha-ha funnypeople! Go find some; you won’t be taken seriously before that.”

Step 2

“What? The Shroud of Turin / miracles / transcendental urges? That’s a bad fake / bad statistics / bad science, and clinging to evidences is a sign of weak faith anyway. Have faith! Have faith! You won’t be taken seriously otherwise!”

Then back to step 1.

    The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was making the world believe his writings were the Word of God.

    …either that, or pulling an Elohim out of a hat. That was pretty impressive, too.
