Presented without comment, the ratio of Google hits (from where I am) for the singular to hits for the plural of certain words.

Oh, and Exercise: Does the more popular number correspond to that how many (on the scale of one to many) of the organ in question a human being consists of? If not, make excuses. Pay special attention to the sex-specific vs. the sex-neutral organs.
